Also in Bulgaria, the Roma still live under pitiful circumstances. They often live together in a separated part of villages, towns and cities. Our contacts are working in the Roma-villages around the city of Plovdiv. In several villages a Roma-church has been planted. The vision to combine evangelism with the practical help of Child Sponsor Programme came through James 1, 27: “Pure religion and undefiled before God and the Father is this, to visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction…”
